Synopse
A body is washed up on the North Sea coast. It is Alexander Halbach (August Zirner) who with his wife Bettina (Ina Weise) owns a holiday house on the island. Their marriage, however, is only a facade. Bettina is having an affair with Tom (Jürgen Vogel) a local who runs a guesthouse with his wife. After Halbach's death, the focus of the investigation is on Bettina's relationship with Tom. Was Alexander killed because he stood in the way of their happiness? A tense, atmospheric chamber piece about a fatal ménage à trois. Based on a short story by Siegfried Lenz and featuring a superb cast of German acting talent.
