Synopse
On her very first case, a young female police inspector is confronted by her own traumas. Even before her first day at work in the homicide division Hamburg, Inspector Katharina Tempel (Franziska Hartmann) is given an unusual case by her new superior DCI Georg König: The Leitermanns, a married couple, both doctors, have disappeared. The evidence points to a kidnapping. While Hans Leitermann is soon found on the couple’s boat, there is still no trace of his wife. Katharina and her colleagues start investigating and she soon finds that the case affects her private life and reveals a spiritual abyss.

FRANZIS MELETZKY (*1973 in Leipzig) studied at the HFF in Potsdam-Babelsberg and worked on TV series like Dr. Psycho, Stromberg, Bloch and Tatort. Her last film to be shown at FILMFEST HAMBURG was Vertraue mir in 2015.
