Synopse
Hybrid In 2013, there was a lively controversy about a law that would allow same-sex couples to marry and adopt children. As a member of a committee of experts advising and supporting the government, the sociologist Irène Théry was closely involved in the debate. Her son Mathias accompanied her during the months of national emergency and recorded their phone calls. The result is a film both shrewd and funny about the definition of family, which includes the Thérys' personal story and in which the director creates some very special pictures: a number of the events and stories are reconstructed using soft toys.
