Synopse
Even after three decades, Kubrick's adaptation of Stephen King's horror classic has lost none of its disturbing effect. The film is a nightmare, with an axe-wielding Jack Nicholson as writer Jack Torrance, lost in the black hole of his soul. He takes on the job of caretaker at the Hotel Overlook in the Colorado mountains and moves in with his wife and 5-year old son Danny. Snowed-in and cut off from the outside world, Jack spirals ever closer to madness and becomes a deadly danger to his family. The only one who can save his and his mother's life is Danny, who has an extra-sensory gift, the Shining.
