Synopse
MINI-SERIES United crime-fighting after the fall of the Wall. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, 1993. The mutilated body of a young girl is found near the former border to the GDR. The young inspector Ulrike Bandow (Henriette Confurius) and her new colleague from Hamburg, Koray Larssen (Fahri Yardim), take on their first case. Mysterious clues take them into the German-German past, where they come across a hitherto undiscovered series of bizarre murders. Now the perpetrator has returned to the place it all began. To stop him, the investigators have to learn to trust each other. No easy task, as Ulrike’s own guilt leads to an abyss she never wanted to look into. And Koray too has a secret.

After training as a cameraman and studying at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg, STEPHAN RICK (*1974 in Rosenheim) has mostly made TV films and series, including most recently The Heimsuchung (2021) and Polizeiruf 110 – Abgrund (2022).
