Synopse
Three friends, tousled-haired dreamers in baggy trousers and more preoccupied with themselves than anything else, set off on a trip in an orange camper van. Their journey takes them via Annecy and Toulouse to Paris, the dream city of their youth, which is ending with this trip. On the way, they meet women with whom they have or have had a romantic interlude. They debate and philosophize, joke a lot and spin yarns, and spend twelve carefree, unforgettable days during which they want to surprise themselves and feel alive again. The Romantic Exiles is a charming and wonderfully told road movie full of literary and cinematic quotations that was created almost without a script. At the Malaga film festival, the film won three prizes, including the Jury Special Prize.
