Synopse
After a rodeo accident, Brady has to get used to having a metal plate in his head. What is far worse for the cowboy is the fact that he can never ride again. Brady's world crumbles. Not only is his career as a rodeo rider at an end – up until now, his entire working life has revolved around horses. Torn between his old and his future lives, Brady has to reinvent himself – and find out what it means to be a man in the American heartland of today. With breath-taking pictures of the prairies of South Dakota, The Rider finds a wonderful balance between tender lyricism, archaic myths and the raw reality of life in the Mid-West.
