Synopse
The fourth case for Inspector Carl Mørck: Verachtung is the nerve-jangling film version of Jussi Adler-Olsen's best-selling thriller. It's a bizarre picture that meets the eye of Inspector Carl Mørck of Special Department Q: three mummified corpses sitting at a dining table laid out for a meal - and the fourth seat is empty. Initial enquiries lead him to the case of a prostitute who mysteriously disappeared in 1987. But the trail goes further, back to the 1950s, and eventually leads Mørck to a small island home to an institution with a dark past.
Regie
CHRISTOFFER BOE (*1974) studied at the National Film School of Denmark in Copenhagen. His film Reconstruction won the Caméra d’Or at Cannes in 2003 for the best debut film and was also shown at FILMFEST HAMBURG Most recently, he directed Sex, Drugs & Taxation (2013).
