Synopse
DOCUMENTARY The powerful counterpoint to Oppenheimer’s Oscar-nominated film The Act of Killing bears witness to the collapse after 50 years of suppression in Indonesia. Thanks to Oppenheimer’s images of mass murder in 1965, one family learns how their son was killed, that there were survivors and who the murderers were. Adi, the youngest son and an optician, decides to break the silence, doing the unthinkable in a society where the murderers are still in power: he confronts the men who killed his brother and demands that they take responsibility for their deeds while he tests their eyes.
