Synopse

On his last ever shift on a lightship, captain Freytag (Jan Fedder) takes his son Fred (Tobias Schenke) aboard to talk things out. At sea, they rescue three castaways, who turn out to be armed and dangerous criminals under the leadership of Dr. Caspary (Axel Milberg). Freytag is prepared to play into their hands to avoid bloodshed – but his crew have other plans. The unrelenting tension increases steadily throughout this literary adaptation of the classic novella by Siegfried Lenz.
