Synopse
Steven (Colin Farell) and Anna (Nicole Kidman) and their sons Bob and Kim seem to be the perfect family: she is head of an eye clinic, he a heart successful surgeon. They live in a beautiful house, they would appear to have everything. But beneath the immaculate surface trouble begins to brew when 16-year old Martin enters their lives. The teenager from a humble background makes friends with Steven and tries to pair him off with his mother. When the plan fails, he puts a curse on Steven's family. The Killing of a Sacred Deer was inspired by the Iphigenia myth and uses metaphysical elements to pursue the question of guilt and atonement. The film won the prize for best screenplay at Cannes.
