Synopse
Berlin, 1943. The Nazi regime has declared the capital of the Reich officially "Jew-free". But a few Jews have managed to slip through the net. Cioma (Max Mauff) lives a life of luxury, financed by his ability to forge passports for others. Hanni (Alice Dwyer) dyes her hair blonde and can stroll along the Ku'damm like a proper Aryan. And Ruth (Ruby O. Fee) sells Nazi officers black market delicacies, disguised as a war widow. They're all fighting for a life in freedom without actually being free. An impressive docu-drama which integrates interviews with witnesses telling their extraordinary story.
