Synopse
A disturbing drama about a woman shaken to the core by an encounter with the past.The active Christian and neuro-scientific assistant Ruth leads a quiet life in a provincial town with her husband and two daughters. But this changes when Ruth sees a man she loved many years previously. He's been in prison for 20 years for a murder he never confessed to. Ruth is torn between the desire to keep things as they are and the destructive attraction of her former lover. But the foundations of her beliefs are beginning to crumble, the abyss beckons.

SIMON JAQUEMET (*1978) studied film at the Zurich University of the Arts. His 2015 debut film War won several awards, including the Max Ophüls Prize.
