Synopse
Left-wing extremist or outlaw? In 1976, the second trial of Pierre Goldman divided France. Cédric Kahn’s new film is a gripping courtroom drama. Pierre Goldman was sentenced to life in prison. While the former guerrilla admitted carrying out various bank robberies, he denied having anything to do with the murder of two women. Thanks to a book in which he accused the authorities of racism and methods worthy of a police state, he became a Leftist icon. Numerous vociferous supporters followed the appeal hearings. Not the only problem Goldman’s lawyer Georges Kiejman had to deal with – his constantly provocative client is at risk of the death penalty.
