Synopse

A gripping science fiction thriller with the Middle East conflict as a psychological dual between two women: an Israeli and a Palestinian. After the murder of an Israeli minister, internationally renowned profiler Nurit Bloch takes on the investigation. She was one of the main developers of a revolutionary programme which uses algorithms to predict terror attacks. Suspicion falls on the young Palastinian student Yaffa, but Nurit is convinced she is withholding her real motivation. The longer the interrogation lasts, the deeper the two women penetrate a past and reveal unsettling insights.

Regie

NOAM KAPLAN (*1974 in Israel) studied Film at the Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem. For Israeli TV, he made the detective series The Missing File. After his debut Manpower (2014) The Future is his second full-length film.
