Synopse

The scent of a witch: a transcendental drama about motherhood and suppressed love. Vicky, a strange, lonely girl, has a magical gift: she can reproduce any scent she likes and keeps them in carefully labelled jars. Secretly, she has collected the scent of her mother Joanne (Adèle Exarchopoulos), for whom she feels a wild, excessive love. When her father‘s sister comes into her life, Vicky reproduces her scent and is transported to dark, archaic memories – leading her to discover the secrets of her village, her family and her own existence.

Regie

LEA MYSIUS (*1989 in Bordeaux) studied literature at the Sorbonne in Paris and screenplay writing at the La Fémis film school. Her debut feature Ava won several awards.
