Synopse
A surreal journey full of absurd turn-offs: a debut drama from Montenegro with the Lanthimos-Touch. Filip, a cultivated university professor, drives with his wife to a spa hotel on the coast. After a few days in the monotony of the resort, their apparently perfect marriage is on the rocks. Amid the ruins of his life, Filip returns to the city. He flees to a village in mountainous forest and enters a fantasy world – where he meets his long-dead mother and falls in love with a girl who was once a snake.
Regie
DUŠAN KASALICA (*1987) studied film direction at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, Montenegro. With A Matter of Will, he won the prize for best short at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2015.
