Synopse

Monica didn't place some payments to one of the clients of the company where she works. The missing 15,000 pesos do not only compromise her but also her co-worker, who discovered the money is missing. It seems it's not the first time it happens, but her co-worker, despite his anger, doesn't blow the whistle and believes in her once more: Monica commits to getting the money back the next morning. She has roughly 14 hours, mostly during the night. During that time, we accompany in her course. Her movements, always intense, result in thin cuts (sometimes not so thin), hurting her bonds. As if it were only about exchanges, transactions disconnected from affection. A coming and going through the city and the suburbs, once and again. The space of the night, emptied and estranged, favors intimacy and deepens some traits in Monica: an incurable pain, a reading of the cynicism of the world and others. With help from her sister and a friend, plus the savings she and her couple have, she manages to come up with the sum. She has it in her purse now, she can pay the debt. But there's still one encounter left in the dead of night.
