Synopse
THE CON GAME looks at the urban Peruvian middle classes in late 2000, caught up in a political climate of resignation, fear and hysteria. A film-maker, a pianist, a real-estate agent, an accountant and an interior designer, all unemployed, fall prey to the machinations of a fraudster who promises them a lucrative reward. On the surface, a light comedy, but behind its outward smile is a social class’s desperate search for identity and security.
