Synopse
Bulgaria 1989. Batko Stamenov is recruited as an informer by the secret police. The young man is perfect for the job: he is devious, a brilliant liar and has no scruples. Batko is given the task of spying on a group of students who are working on the pseudo-philosophical novel Zincograph, which tells the story of a man who is a good citizen by day, but at night the head of a spy network. When Batko is fired for something trivial, he uses the book as an inspiration to found a spy network to take revenge on the government. A wonderfully surreal spy farce, with a main character at least as talented as Mr. Ripley. Screening on 28.09. in attendance of: Emil Christov (Director), Samuel Finzi (Cast)
