Synopse
In Troumaron, a run-down suburb of Port-Louis, the capital of Mauritius, life stands still. Ever since the local textile factory was shut down, there has been no work here. The four teenagers Sadiq, Eve, Clelio and Savita do what they can to survive. Sadiq, the budding poet, writes love poems about Eve. Even as a child, Eve sold her body for school materials. Clelio is a ticking time bomb, deeply frustrated and full of aggression, while Savita still dares to dream of a better future. When she and Eve start making plans to leave Troumaron, a glimmer of hope appears. But it all goes terribly wrong, releasing a spiral of violence.
