Synopse
A satanic mentor and his eager pupil make a pact: a breath-taking biopic showing how Trump became Trump. New York in the 1970s. The ambitious millionaire’s son Donald J. Trump (Sebastian Stan) is at the bottom of the ladder, but fully intends to reach the top and become rich and famous in the Manhattan real estate scene. He just doesn’t know how – until he meets the man who will be one of the most significant figures in his rise: Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong). The clever lawyer and political fixer at once recognizes the young man’s potential and gives Trump meticulous training in acquiring power and wealth through fraud, blackmail and the manipulation of public opinion. He also shares Trump’s pleasure in spreading fear.
