Synopse
How wild can one still be at 40? For the introverted doctor Kostis, life and libido have long since fallen asleep. When he starts a new job on a Greek holiday island, he feels lonely and lost. Until he meets Anna and falls head over heels for the 19-year old party girl. With her at his side, Kostis plunges headfirst into another world: nightlife, nudist beaches and an unreal tourist universe of sex, alcohol and drugs. The 40-year old wants to keep pace with the younger hedonists and be as fit and seductive as they. But his stamina is limited by his age – and the island gossip about the ever more discombobulated doctor can no longer be ignored. Suntan is a painfully funny coming-of-middle-age drama full of tempo and temperament.
