Synopse
DOCUMENTARY Body? – Politics! A road movie through Europe in which life and body plans collide in a provocative montage. Robin is pregnant, but doesn’t want to have a baby. Katerina can’t have children, even though she’d like to. Kiki’s final wish is to end her life with dignity. But abortion, artificial insemination and suicide are illegal in their respective countries. The three women join the flow of travellers who cross borders in the patchwork of European contradictions in search of a place where they are allowed to make decisions about their own bodies.

ELINA PSYKOU (*1977 in Greece) studied film direction and sociology in Athens. Her films The Eternal Return of Antonis Paraskevas (2013) and Son of Sofia (2017) won several awards. Stray Bodies is her first documentary.
