Synopse

Inspector Krüger (Christian Redl) has had enough of provincial Spreewald and can’t wait to get away. With bags already packed, he is called to a major fire at the Hotel Votschovska. In the ruins lies the body of Tim Engel, who was dead before the fire started. Krüger has to postpone his holiday. Obvious suspects are hotel owner Karsten Hellstein and his mistress Tina Engel (Anja Kling) the victim’s widow. Was Tim Engel trying to confront Hellstein about the affair with his wife? Tina Engel’s behaviour is increasingly strange – whose side is she on? Mysterious happenings in the melancholic Spreewald landscape.
