Synopse
Love is a many-splendoured thing and can make small men grow as tall as mountains. Or at least tall enough to climb a pole to compete in the pole-sitting competition which Taefke tries to win in order to impress his loved one. It turned him into a local hero and the sportsman of the century - after all, these were the 1930s. An enchanting comedy about a man who changed the world by sitting down.
