Synopse

Two women travel through a part of France as yet untouched by tourism and rediscover themselves. A meditative, Mediterranean road movie full of positive energy. Avignon is where their paths cross: Irma, a Bulgarian, who's having problems finding her niche in the world and Dolores, a Spaniard, free and open, who's looking to write a gay guide to a forgotten part of Provence. Together, the two women journey through the Camargue and meet unique characters and their stories. For Irma und Dolores, the trip is not only a voyage of discovery, but also one that gradually begins to change them.

Regie

ANNE ALIX (*1964) studied history and started out making documentaries. Something is Happening is her first feature film.
