Synopse
A hut in the jungle on a hot night in 1993: on the Philippines, the war between Communist rebels and government troops has been going on for more than 20 years. The couple who live in the hut had to flee rebel-held territory several years ago. Since then, they have become friendly with a government soldier, who as so often is visiting tonight for a game of cards and a few beers. Yet this evening everything is different, and not just because of the approaching lunar eclipse. A dense, labyrinthine game begins involving politics and friendship, love and lust, trust and betrayal, stunningly staged in real time in a single sequence by Jun Robles Lana.
