Synopse
The Canadian village of Sainte-Marie-La-Mauderne is on the verge of ruin. The only hope for Mayor Germain (Raymond Bouchard) is if the plans to build a rubber factory go ahead. But for this, the village must be twice the size. So the residents are forced to sprint from the pub to the bingo session at the church hall to convince a government official that there are more of them. When investor Dr. Lewis (David Boutin) arrives from Montreal to assess the situation, the villagers will do anything to keep him happy... Jean-François Pouilot’s debut film is a charming and turbulent comedy.
