Synopse
In the 1940s, Tony (Eddie Redmayne) is born into the unhappy marriage of Barbara (Julianne Moore) and Bakelite heir Brooks Baekeland (Stephen Dillane). When Tony turns out to be homosexual, his father cuts off all ties, while his mother creates a claustrophobic closeness to him, with sexual undertones. Based on a true story, the film's six episodes culminate in the murder of Barbara in 1972.
