Synopse
Nine years after "Rebel Without a Cause" (1955), the figure of the young rebel has reached New Zealand. John O’Shea sends his bored and frustrated protagonist David on a trip from Auckland through Northland and into the mountains of the South. After an affair with a married woman, he steals her car, she pressescharges, and henceforth David is on the run… until he can no longer escape from himself, standing on the peak of a glacier. A precise character study set in the breathtaking nature of New Zealand.
