Synopse
For some, Kubrick’s film "The Shining" is a milestone in horror films, for others it is an aberration, not worthy of the master director. In between lie conspiracy theories from people who see hidden messages in the 1980 classic. Room 237 gives five of these Kubrick exegetics the chance to explain their ideas and compares their eccentric assumptions with scenes from the original. It even goes so far as to enter their heads and visualize their streams of consciousness. A trip through a labyrinth with no exit in which the borders between fact and fiction are fluid.
