Synopse
Axel drives a big American car, works at a petrol station and lives in a small room in his mother's flat. His sister Mæja has lots of friends and loves going to nightclubs and parties. One day she accidentally takes the remote control her mother needs for watching tv with her. When Axel follows her to retrieve it, he experiences Reykjavik's nightlife at its worst. He becomes involved with ruthless criminals, breaks into the sleaziest nightclub, drives way over the speed limit, kidnaps people and is kidnapped himself.

Óskar Jónasson (*1963) became known in Germany with his thriller Reykjavík - Rotterdam, which was the Icelandic Oscar® entry in 2009.
