Synopse

An ode to the damned of this world: an Argentinian film follows a river of intense encounters and stories of unconditional humanism. Ramón Vázquez begins a long journey to his father, whom he hasn’t seen for 30 years. Ramón is a worker who hasn’t worked in months. His journey takes him to a community of outcasts – and his presence changes people. They open up, begin to tell their stories, dance, almost as if there was something holy about Ramón that creates reconciliation and solidarity.

Regie

Gustavo Fontán is an Argentinian director. His work deals with the interfaces between fiction and reality, literature and cinema. FilmFest Hamburg has shown his films The Debt (2019) and The Bus Station (2023).
