Synopse
For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health? A couple in their twilight years struggle with the question of how much freedom each can allow the other. Juditha (Dagmar Manzel) and Erik (Rolf Lassgård) have lived a fulfilled life – despite all the ups and downs and above all Juditha‘s early diagnosis of multiple-sclerosis. The university professor’s retirement was supposed to herald in the shared final years, but getting used to their new everyday life is hard: now of all times, Juditha’s illness progresses apace and Erik is worried about domestic constriction. It takes a long time for the couple to express their fears and wishes – until they recognize that they have to take some decisions in order to find their own personal freedom.
