Synopse

Marjane is a young girl when the Mullahs gain power in Iran, imprisoning thousands and forcing women to wear headscarves. But Marjane listens to punk music and Abba and shows interest in boys. Little does she realize how much she puts herself and her family in danger. Based on Marjane Satrapi's autobiographical graphic novels, Persepolis received standing ovations and the Jury Prize in Cannes.
