Synopse
A clearing in the jungle, an old couple, the heat. Waiting for something. From such sparse elements Paz Encina created one of the most vivid South American films of the season, set in the 1930s during the military conflict with Bolivia. When it premiered in Cannes this year, the trade magazine Screen International praised it like Chekhov in the jungle rewritten by Beckett and filmed by Tarkovsky.
