Synopse
Uncertainty is spreading in Buenos Aires. The radio is full of reports of plundered supermarkets, vandalism and riots on the streets. Earthquakes and storms have caused chaos in the country. For this reason, geologist Hernán leaves his comfortable city life and along with housewives and businessmen takes part in a survival camp in the Tigre delta, with its labyrinth of islands, tributaries and channels. The exercises and rules are tough. The city-dwellers train with iron discipline to prepare themselves for the future decline of the country. Parabellum is an unsettling, pictorially powerful distopian vision, full of surreal and also funny moments.
