Synopse

P3ND3JO5 (pronounced Pendejos) is a musical featuring ghosts and skateboarders. Music and groove create the atmosphere in this hypnotic, superbly composed portrait of a group of young people in a suburb of Buenos Aires. Ranging from the folk dance Cumbia to classical opera and punk rock, the musical framework contains three episodes: two love stories and a mafia tale. Shot in black and white and 4:3 format, the film is a homage to Dreyer's Jeanne d'Arc, with the dialogues presented in intertitle form as in a silent film. For many Argentinian film critics, P3ND3JO5 is nothing less than a masterpiece.
