Synopse

12-year old Daniel lives in his parents' motel. Not much happens here: he helps his parents, plays some basketball on the parking lot by himself, gets in a scrap with some local kids... until 13-year old Vera passes through town with her parents. After a fierce fight, Vera's mother abandons her husband and daughter. Vera walks out by herself, meets Daniel and says: "Let's get out of here!" Daniel follows suit, and on that singular afternoon, the two of them discover a whole new world.
