Synopse
For everyone who's always wanted to see a Finnish Western - here it is! The region of Österbotten has a similar significance in the mythology of Finland as the West does in the USA. At the centre of the film is the archaic struggle between two brothers in the middle of the 19th century. Matti, the younger of the two, is considerate and hard-working. Esko, by contrast, is a layabout and ruffian who leads a gang of knife-throwers and outlaws. When their father leaves the farm to Matti and not his first-born, Esko starts a bloody campaign. He wants everything his brother has - including his wife.
