Synopse
The Israeli Avi Mograbi is well-known for his unsparing criticism of his mother country. HIs new film is a both melancholy and heartening journey through a country marked by ideologies and power politics. What was this land once upon a time? What could it become? Mograbi is accompanied by his longtime Arab friend Ali Al-Azhari. Their conversations jump backwards and forwards between past and present, revealing many similarities shared by their peoples who today are artificially separated by border wire. The men's dialogue holds a seed of hope for the future. Screening on 28.09. in attendance of: Avi Mograbi (Director), Ali Al-Azhari (Protagonist)
