Synopse
Robbie Coltrane stars in this entertaining comedy as the Dublin college janitor, Brendan, whose love of the horses has taken his family to the verge of ruin. Having sworn to give up his habit, he comes across an old Aborigine skull in a college cupboard that accurately predicts the outcome of the races. But before he can put money on the Grand National, Brendan himself has a number of hurdles to take, not least of them his furious wife (Brenda Blethyn). A pacy, feelgood movie with an hilarious chase through Dublin and a rousing power-to-thepeople finale.
