Synopse
Hugo and Braulio are highly qualified and should be able to find good jobs. But Spain is in recession and the prospects for highly skilled people are bleak. Inspired by a report on TV about the job boom in Germany, the two friends head for Berlin. But no-one is impatiently waiting for them there either, apart from their new landlord, a kebab shop owner. The exiled academics stumble from interview to interview in broken German, steadily reducing their expectations. Soon, the only prospect is kebab-shaped…
Regie
NACHO G. VELILLA (*1967) absolvierte ein Film- und Fernsehstudium in Coventry und Madrid. Nach einer Reihe von Musikvideos drehte und produzierte er einige sehr erfolgreiche und mehrfach ausgezeichnete TV-Serien für das spanische Fernsehen. Off Course ist sein dritter Spielfilm.
