Synopse
Ann Oren’s second feature film is a mystery drama about two fetishists, artistically uncompromising and radically sensuous. Ingeborg (Aenne Schwarz) and Adam (Louis Hofmann) are brilliant hand surgeons, with a common bond of love, control and shared obsessions. Ingeborg can’t stop stealing things that don’t belong to her; Adam longs to become an object himself. When an accident brings the mysterious Gaia (Simone Bucio) into their lives, unexpected desires are awakened and threaten to disturb the fine balance of their relationship.
Regie
Ann Oren studied Film and Visual Arts in New York and works as an artist and film-maker. Her debut feature Piaffe (FFHH 2022) won numerous awards, including the mainprizes at the Achtung Berlin and Crossing Europe festivals. Like Piaffe, Objet a had its premiere at the Locarno Film Festival and was shown there in competition.
