Synopse
A lo-fi film about a patchwork family on the Korean island of Jejudo, which won Best Direction and Best Female Actor for Kim Minhee in Locarno. Together with her brother, Sanghee (Kim Minhee) visits her mother for the first time in years. While the latter’s restaurant has become a great success, her stepfather has been trying for ten years to get a documentary film finished. Sanghee in contrast chose to aim lower with her creative ambitions. In conversations about life, the world situation and artistic practice, an undertow of family-influenced frustration starts to emerge.
