Synopse
F.W. Murnau's expressionist classic marks the birth of the horror genre. Based on Bram Stoker's Dracula (for which Murnau was denied the rights), the twisted figure of Count Orlock (Max Schreck) is an unforgettable image from the silent film era. Carrying plague, death and destruction in his wake as he pursues secretary Hutter, the vampire symbolizes the incursion of evil into the middle class.
