Synopse

Pathologist Dr. Nariman has a car accident in which an 8-year old is injured. The doctor offers to take the boy to hospital, but his father refuses. When Nariman learns the following day that the child has died, he is faced with a dilemma: is he responsible for the child's death or did it die as a result of food poisoning as the autopsy assumes? Nariman can find no peace and starts investigating - and in doing so sets off an unexpected avalanche. Excellently cast, the drama asks existential questions about morals, responsibility and guilt. No Date, No Signature was shown at the Venice Film Festival in the section »Orizzonti«.

VAHID JALILVAND (*1976) studied theatre direction in Tehran and has made more than 30 documentaries on mainly social issues. In 2015, he released his debut feature Wednesday, May 9.
