Synopse
In this US indie production, a woman takes on a new identity and weaves herself - and the audience - into a web of illusion and reality. Nancy is in her mid-30s and lives in a small flat with her mother and cat. She would love to be a writer, but no-one wants to publish her work. In her state of apparent invisibility, Nancy suffers – and is constantly inventing new characters and stories on the Internet. When she meets a couple whose 5-year old daughter disappeared without trace, fact and fiction merge in Nancy's head and she becomes increasingly convinced that they are her real parents.
Regie
With her short film I am John Wayne (2012) CHRISTINA CHOE won numerous awards. Nancy is her debut feature film and won the screenplay prize at Sundance.
