Synopse
A Kurdish woman is suspected of being a terrorist: a tense political thriller that goes deep into Turkey‘s paranoid surveillance system. Arjin is being watched by Turkish intelligence. Her crime: she put up another Kurdish woman for one night, who thereafter disappeared without trace. Every step taken by Arjin and her friend Sidar is now under surveillance. When Ramo, a secret service operative of Kurdish origin, thinks he’s found evidence of Arjin and Sidar’s involvement in the planning of a suicide attack in Istanbul, the noose tightens. But Ramo made a mistake when lip-reading.

RODI GÜVEN YALÇINKAYA (*1979) studied documentary film-making, video art and photography at the Bilgi University in Istanbul. Momê is his debut feature film.
